The Spiritual Fellowship logo consists of three elements: a
gold or yellow cross, three azure blue concentric circles which are intertwined
with the cross, and a white multi-pointed star in the center. The meanings of each of
these elements is as follows:
The
Cross. The cross in the logo represents several things. First, it signifies The Spiritual
Fellowship’s commitment to conduct its affairs with the highest integrity, an
integrity that reflects the spirit of Jesus’ life and teachings. Whenever
possible in the operation of this organization, it is our goal to follow Jesus’
example as described in The Urantia Book.
Second, the cross symbolizes Jesus’ love for us, our love and respect for
Jesus, and Jesus’ example of living a life dedicated to doing the Father’s
will, whatever the consequences. Third,
the cross reflects the promise of eternal life for all who sincerely seek and
attempt to live the Father’s will.
The
Concentric Circles. These circles are described in The Urantia Book as symbolic of the Trinity. In eternity, God is one, but manifests as
three persons-Father, Son, and Spirit-to the universe. The Father is represented by the inner
circle; the Son by the center circle; and the Spirit by the outer circle. The inter-relationship of these three persons
made possible the origin and continued development of our material universe of
things and beings.
The
Star. The multi-point star in the center of the circles
represents the indwelling Spirit of God, our spiritual guide and immediate
connection with God. Because we each have the gift of this spark of the
Eternal, we have the potential for eternal life.
